What Jerk Alert is

A structured record of driving behavior, submitted by drivers who saw it happen
A report is a plate, a location, one of 25 fixed categories, and a severity from 1 to 5
Reports are public and roll up into a plate's Erk Score
Free, ad-free, and rated 18 and over

What it is not

Not an owner lookup. No DMV data, no identity databases. It cannot tell you who owns a vehicle.
Not a forum. No comment field, no replies, no photos — nothing to type, nothing to read.
Not a tracker. Location is optional, approximate, and never attached to a report.
Not for confrontation. The Terms prohibit following, approaching, or identifying another driver.

Jerk Alert is operated by Jerk Alert LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company. Reports are members' personal accounts of moments observed in public.
